The Focus: 

Altering the retail space into an interactive space for customers, creatives, and sneaker fans to be informed more on the context of the creative process that goes on in designing your own sneaker and the behind scenes of the sneaker industry.

Essential Role:

A producer and creative of a quarterly series called: Conversations with ___________. 

Curated the layout of the space 

Directed the overall flow of social/digital promotional execution and day of roll out 

Managed RSVP list and status update daily to management. Customized confirmed RSVP e-mails to send out.

Assigned tasks to each staff member and created a through itinerary and time sheet. 

Worked alongside Director of Marketing to create questions for the Q&A 

Worked in aligning Puma sponsors with the owner of Likelihood. 

Booked videographer to capture the event and assisted in the editing process with selecting intro/outro content and key questions.

Hosted the event day of: reading intro and reading Jeff & Aaron's biography.

The Execution: 

The first feature brings Jeff Staple, a sneaker expert, founder of heavy hitter streetwear brand, Staple Pigeon and creative agency, Staple Design to a Q&A Session at Likelihood.

Staple was interviewed by LIKELIHOOD owner and former Nike NSW NA Sales Lead, Aaron DelGuzzo. It was a bit of old times for Staple and DelGuzzo since they knew each other from the early days of sneaker culture. “It was humbling and exciting to have Jeff in the store and to hear his fascinating perspective,” said DelGuzzo. “One thing that hasn’t changed with Jeff is his passion and love for his work and this community. His energy lit up the space.”

The Result: 

Aligning a Puma Sponsor for the event: Jeff Staple released his latest collab, which is with PUMA, called NTRVL. A sportswear collection that include apparel and two sneaker silhouettes.

50+ guests ONLY were allowed in to hear their favorite sneaker legend speak on one of his latest projects.  

The first 40 guests received free Staple Pigeon hats

10 Pairs of Sneakers were raffled out to the audience
